The Menteng Mitra Afia Hospital, Central Jakarta was closed down by Jakarta Health Dept. It is because the hospital does not meet requirement and permit from management side.

"There have been first, second and third warning letter given to the hospital. They also bribe our people," expressed Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, at City Hall, Wednesday (9/7).

Basuki disclosed, the policy is a step to protect Jakartans. It is also to give deterrent effect to hospitals in Jakarta. His party will continue to add more type D hospitals. Thus people have a choice hospital.

"We have no choice for this. But we continue to add more hospitals, because we are BLUD, no problem," he finished.
